Alexandra Longuet

Alexandra Kandy Longuet was born in Paris. After graduating from Paris’ École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts and the Université Paris III, she contributed to several exhibitions before setting off for Argentina. She trained in filmmaking in Belgium. “As She Left”, her first film, won the Grand Prix at the Message to Man Festival. In 2017, she won a SCAM Etoile for “Nouvelle-Orléans, laboratoire de l’Amérique”. She also makes radio documentaries for Belgium’s RTBF and France Culture.
