Les Rencontres du film documentaire de Mellionnec

Championing documentary filmmaking and making it accessible to as many people as possible is the ambition that led to the creation of the Ty Films association in 2007 in the heart of a village in central Brittany. The Rencontres du Film Documentaire de Mellionnec take place in June and have become an annual meeting place for film professionals and amateurs alike. Since then, Ty Films’ initiatives have been developed along three lines: distribution, creation and training. And in 2022, Skol Doc, a documentary film school, will be opening its doors. Since the 14th edition of the Rencontres 2020 was cancelled, Ty Films has organised the “Retrouvailles de septembre”, a chance to meet up over documentary creation and to screen 6 “Highlight” films, chosen by the selection committee – 2 of which are being shown on Tënk!
