Marie Voignier

Marie Voignier is a filmmaker born in 1974 in Ris-Orangis, France. After obtaining a scientific degree and spending a few years in Berlin, she studied at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon where she made her first videos, graduating in 2004. Since 2011, she has been teaching and coordinating its Images-Movement Department. Her work includes “Le Bruit du Canon” (Short Film Award, Cinéma du Réel 2007), “Interland” (2009), and “Tourisme International” (2014). “L'Hypothèse du Mokélé-Mbembé” was released in cinemas in 2012 after being screened at numerous festivals such as FID Marseille, Rotterdam and Belfort Entrevues. In 2020, she completed “NA China”, which premièred in Switzerland at the Vision du Réel.
