Sima Khatami

Born in Iran in 1977, Sima Khatami now lives and works in Paris. Having studied at Teheran’s School of Fine Arts and taken a course in Drama at Teheran’s Théâtre de la Ville, she then attended the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in Christian Boltanski’s studio. As a filmmaker and artist, Khatami often works with choreographers such as Pierre Droulers, Yves-Noël Genod and Boris Charmatz for performances and exhibitions whilst also making award-winning movies (FID, Cinéma du Réel, Kunsten, etc.).
