Valeria Bruni Tedeschi is a French-Italian actress and director. Having started out on stage, she then began to be offered many roles in French and Italian films by highly regarded directors. In 2003, she turned to directing with “Il est plus facile pour un châmeau”, acclaimed by viewers and critics alike and awarded the Louis Delluc prize. She then made “Actrices” and “Un château en Italie”, both selected at the Cannes Film Festival, followed by the documentary “A Young Girl in her Nineties”, co-directed with Yann Coridian. This was followed by “les Estivants” in 2018, her fourth feature-length drama.
