Loïc Touzé is a dancer, choreographer and instructor. From 2001 to 2006, he was co-director of the Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers with Yvane Chapuis and François Piron, and since 2011 has been director of Honolulu, a centre for creation, artist residences and transmission in Nantes. He creates dance shows, makes films and organises public events paying great attention to movement and narrative. He is also involved in the projects of other artists in the fields of music, theatre, circus and the visual arts, and with Mathieu Bouvier, he has begun major research into the notion of figures in dance, setting up the site pourunatlasdesfigures.net. Touzé is also a university lecturer with the ENSA (National School of Architecture) in Nantes and a regular guest lecturer at Theatre, Art and Choreography Schools in France and abroad.
