Yaser Kassab

Yaser Kassab is an award-winning filmmaker, born in Syria (1988) and based in Sweden, known for "On the Edge of Life" (2017) which premiered in Cinema du reel film festival (Paris) where it was awarded the Joris Ivens/Cnap award. It also won awards in festival dei Popoli (Florence), Tirana Film Festival, and festival du Film de famille (Paris), and was screened in many other international festivals. In 2012, he made a short video, "Take it" which was screened in many festivals in the USA and Europe. In 2017 he made another short video, "Mixed media". In March 2019, he directed "I have seen nothing, I have seen all", a 20 min documentary which premiered at the 51th edition of Visions du reel (Nyon), and many other festivals like Festival Dei Popoli (Florence, IDFA (Amsterdam), Carthage, Cairo, etc.
