Samuel Patthey, born in Berlin in 1993, is the son of an architect and a painter. After a childhood immersed in art, culture and creativity, he studied animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In 2016, he spent half a year at Shenkar College in Tel Aviv. Living in Israel was a source of inspiration, which he used to direct "Travelogue Tel Aviv" (2017), winner of many prizes in festivals around the world. Since 2018, he’s worked as a film animation director in Fribourg, Switzerland.
