Loïc Touzé is a dancer, choreographer and educator. He combines these practices indiscriminately, endlessly probing the adventure he recognises in dance. He regularly leaves the stage and “Dedans ce monde” is a perfect illustration of this: here he interviews the amateur dancers who attended the artists’ residence “À Domicile”. They describe their experiences (dismantling a car, going into the sea as a group, embodying an element from nature, etc.), their sensations and their reactions. Rapidly, through the words they use, their physical on-screen presence expands, as do their movements. Contemporary dance merges with traditional dance, the Finistère landscapes overlap with different projects and the film, as well as being an account of the artistic project, becomes a manifesto for dance, for asserting its potential to liberate, to experiment and to share, its capacity to invigorate faces and bodies.
